Mount Schilthorn and Trummelbach Falls

We spent one day taking cable cars to one of the highest peaks in Switzerland - Mount Schiltorn, and over 10,000 feet. On the way back, we stopped at the Trummelbach Falls -  waterfalls that actually went through the interior of a mountain. It sounded like thunder and was an incredible sight.

I enjoyed the views on the way up so much more than the actual view at the top (probably because it was cloudy by that point).

There were so many huge waterfalls in every direction.

Can you spot the mountain goats? They were scattered along the way. You can't tell how steep the incline in from this picture, but it was incredibly steep.

When we finally made it to the top, it was cold and cloudy! The clouds would move every now and then for a minute, so we got a few quick views of what is claimed to be one of the most beautiful views on earth. It really was stunning to see such high mountains in every direction.

After about an hour of the cold we headed inside the revolving restaurant for some Swiss hot chocolate. I was disappointed to see that they don't serve Swiss Miss in Switzerland.

By the time we headed to the waterfalls Jenna was pooped. She was such a trooper.

The falls were amazing! They winded all the way through a huge mountain. You could hear the gushing water echoing and the entire inside of the mountain was misty.
