Bern

Our afternoon in Bern was such an experience. The European culture was rich here, and the main strip reminded me of Diagon Alley in Harry Potter (so naturally, I loved it). It was our day in the city, and there was so much to see. The main strip where the train drops you off consists of a narrow street with tall buildings on each side, made up of little shop after shop. There were also stairs leading down to basement shops along the whole street as well. The street went down for about a mile, and ended at a restaurant overlooking a park with bears in it, which is where we ate lunch.

Traditional Swiss lunch: Potatoes, cream, butter, and eggs.

The building in the background is where we ate lunch, and bears roamed around in the grass area.

We followed a group of tourists into this beautiful church

Credit goes to Sam for catching this wonderful shot :)
