Grandma's Visit

The past two weeks with my mom and Ashley here flew by. We had such a great time together. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family. Time with my them means the world to me. Highlights of the trip were picnics on the beach, paddle boarding (the first time for Sam and I) through Haliewa --for awhile with my mom, Ash, and I all on the same board - couldn't stop laughing or tipping over, relaxing at Koolina and the Disney resort, surfing for the first time in years with Ashley, body boarding with my mom, and playing Rook at night.

                                        

                                       

Visitors!

Matt and Jill came out to visit us for a week. We had such a blast with them snorkeling, swimming, visiting, and playing Speed Scrabble.

A Very Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day weekend was the greatest. It is such a special feeling to be able to celebrate this day with our sweet Jenna. We started it Friday night with a night swim at Waimea and Thai food, spent Saturday fishing and at Lanikea Beach, and spent actual Mother's Day relaxing at home together after church. I am so grateful for a wonderful mother who continually teaches me to be a better mother.

Family Vacation

Sam and I took 2 weeks to visit both of our families. It was wonderful! We spent a few days in Arizona with my family, about a week in Wyoming with his, and a few more days in Arizona. Highlight's included being there for my mom's birthday, General Conference and Easter with family, perfect AZ weather walks, watching the boy's baseball games, Matt surprising us with his boys in Rawlins, and getting to visit Nana and Papa at their new house for the first time.

My mom said that when I was little and she would take me to run errands, I would beg her, "Just one more store Mom, just one more store!" Jenna might look like Sam (so everyone says) but maybe she got a little of my personality. The girl LOVES to go shopping.

6 Months Old...

and couldn't be any sweeter. She babbles, squeals, and grins ear to ear. She loves being thrown around by Dad and going on walks and shopping with Mom. She goes to bed early(6ish) and it is all we can do to not wake her up to play after a couple of hours because we miss her already. We love our little Jenna girl.

Happy Man

Sam with his 2 favorite toys - Jenna and his new Ipad. Sam has been waiting years to get an Ipad. I knew it was bad when I found his collection of aps he had been saving just in case he ever got one. So when he bought tickets to take me to visit my family (next week!), I talked him into getting the new Ipad (it didn't take much convincing). He waited at in line at Best Buy at 5am opening day and came home one happy man.
